The third day of a weekend
dedicated to the Orlando Pirates 65th Anniversary
celebrations saw a fun-filled Corporate 7 A-Side
Tournament at the Arthur Block Training Grounds in
Mayfair.
This Tournament was played under clear blue skies,
with sounds of music from the Castle Loud Van, laughter
and cheering intermingled with the scent of picnics and
braais.
The Club wished to include the Corporate World in
their anniversary celebrations, but such was the success
of the event, they now wish it to be included in the
end-of-year festivities on an annual basis.
Orlando Pirates Football Club sincerely thanks the

Round Robin with the top 16 teams going through to the
main Cup Competition. The remaining teams contested for
the Plate Competition.
The final of the Cup Competition was between Standard
Bank Card Division and Namitech A. After a "nail-biting"
match and sudden death penalty shoot out the Cup went to
Namitech A. Yebo-Yes United took 3rd place after a
play-off against Vodacom A.
Highveld Steel B Team won the Plate Competition when
they beat Chemserve.
